What your kitchen doesn’t use, your garden can

Recycle 100% of kitchen waste - indoors! The BioFermenter ferments fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and oil into natural, nutrient-rich soil humus. Unlike compost and land-fill, the airtight BioFermenter attracts no odours, no insects and no vermin. It’s perfect inside any home, apartment or office.

From kitchen waste to garden resource

Composting can waste valuable nutrients in food products. The BioFermenter fermentation process retains the energy and most of the nutrients in kitchen waste, enriching them with BioBokashi microbes to increase rapid, healthy plant growth. It’s a simple seven-step process:

Lightly sprinkle BioBokashi into the base of the BioFermenter.

Add a few centimetres of kitchen waste: fruit, vegetables, raw or cooked meat, egg shells, small bones, oil, small amounts of paper.

Compress waste to remove air pockets.

Add a top layer of BioBokashi microbes.

Burp the BioFermenter lid to remove excess air.

Use the BioFermenter tap to drain fermented liquid every few days. This liquid is highly concentrated, and rich in nutrients. It’s versatile as well.
